The All Share Index closed at 40,928.70 against the previous close of 40,808.48 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦14.784 trillion against previous close of ₦14.741 trillion. Volume traded decreased by 18.59% from 205.298 million to 167.130 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 34.61% from ₦3.120 billion to ₦2.040 billion in 3,453 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 121.268 million shares exchanged for ₦1.003 billion. Services came next with 14.069 million shares traded for ₦0.021 billion, Consumer Goods, Industrial Goods, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Sovrenins, Zenithbank, Lasaco, Fcmb and Uba were the most active stocks by volume. Wemabank, Ccnn, Skyebank, Regalins and Unitybnk emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Intbrew, Hmarkins, Maybaker, Neimeth and Sterlnbank topped the losers chart.
